It's all local, all the time
Concerned about the cost of bad farming? So are we. That's why we graze on grass clover and alfalfa, raise our own hay, and finish off our cows with corn from our own fields. That's it. No frills, just 90 acres of pure awesomeness.
Farm Tours
Want to see it to believe it?
Give us a call and stop by for a visit. The cows enjoy the company and the producers love to show off. Want to chat about soil health? Crop rotation? Microorganisms? No problem. Or maybe the kids would enjoy some sunshine and a romp...or a quiet pet with the cat. Just let us know!
THE PURCHASING OPTIONS
We can sell beef to you on the direct market for $3.25 per pound. A quarter of beef gives you between 200 and 220 pounds, depending on the animal. While you have options of how much of the meat you'd like ground into hamburger, generally your freezer will contain about eight roasts, 15 steaks, stew meat, round steaks, and ground beef. An additional fee of approximately $200, depending on weight, is paid directly to the butcher for processing.
